Adewale Ajao (Wale) is a seasoned Asset Manager with over 25 years of expertise in petroleum production operations, engineering, and technology across onshore and offshore assets. He has a proven track record of leading multidisciplinary teams to restore, optimize, and sustain crude oil and gas production in the Niger Delta and beyond. He combines deep technical knowledge with strategic leadership, making him a trusted expert in asset management, production optimization, and sustainable field operations.
Leadership & Operations: Directed operations and maintenance activities for offshore and onshore assets, ensuring production sustainability and compliance with KPIs.
Production Optimization: Successfully implemented Well, Reservoir, and Facility Management (WRFM) plans, achieving significant production gains – 4 Mbopd to 12 Mbopd without new drilling through innovative interventions such as vertical lift optimization techniques, gas lift optimization, choke management, stimulation, and zone change.
Strategic Asset Management: Oversaw asset rejuvenation projects, embedding WRFM culture, and driving efficiency through integrated production system modeling and hydrocarbon accounting.
